Drove past the Park and Ride yesterday and the thought of skating crossed my mind. I work near a really sweet hill we used to skate back in the 70's. I skated it with Wes E. a week or so before Lacosta 2001. I set my quicksilver woody up for my son to cruise around campus down in Florida while he wa...

Race In the Rain

I was there, must've drank a case of Red Bull. Chaput won the race in '02 with a perfectly executed "Criddle". I just posted an Album on FaceBook with pictures. Find me under Abelardo Michel Temoche.

Right now the pavement is wet in G'burg a little snow on the grass. Could dry up in a few hours.

Here's what the Washington Post says.

A little accumulation of snow early this morning; otherwise, breezy and cold with clouds breaking

Capitol Hill slalom skateboarder

Hey Zach. I work on the Hill and I slalom. I start work at 11:00 am on M W F. I take the Marc train in to Union Station on those days and have some time to kill before work. Sometimes I go to the gym to kill the time. I'd be up for some skating on those mornings. I get out at 5 on T TH, with the tim...

Nobody Slaloming

Hey, I've been reading your posts at least :) It's soccer referee season for me. I can stop by around 3:30pm on Sunday. I started skating around my work a few days a week this week. I bring my board on MWF, ride down to the gym, work out for about an hour and ride back to the office. Today I even sk...

Out of town

I'll be on a camping trip. Last time I checked P&R still looks the same.
I started a new job downtown and drive down Sherril Drive a couple of times a week, that would make for an exciting slalom venue.

Anthony or Doug do you guys still have the movies online that you guys took there a few years ago? That place would be great for a killer GS or Super GS. Maybe some tight ass duals at the bottom of the hill. So is there a session there this Sunday?

I was thinking more single slalom than duals, possibly accomodating a narrow runout lane up 18th street, close to the curb away from the booths. I've been working saturdays, not much skating.
