Re: New Timing System

Here are some pictures of what I have so far. The piece in the bottom left on the first picture is an RF transceiver. Not yet implemented but should be working soon. It's an RFM22-b. http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f14/halorider/IMAG0982.jpg?t=1347592879 http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f14/halor...

Re: New Timing System

Sorry I haven't responded. I don't come on here much. The prototype is done and has been tested once. It worked very well. Right now I am building a better more robust model which will eventually be manufactured with glen chapmans help. He has been helping me and is happy with it so far. I am finish...

Re: 2012 Antrim Can / Am N. American Championship Sept 14-15

Who would want to do some racing in micro seconds as an extra this year? See who is really the fastest? My timer can do micro seconds so i thought it would be a little change from millisecond times.

Re: New Timing System

That is basically what I am aiming for as well. I want he timer to be command driven so all the work is done on the PC side. The PC will send commands to the timer via a serial socket. The timer has a big case statement that reads in the commands from the PC and performs the coresponding process. I ...

Re: New Timing System

My main reason for making a system is because we don't have the money for an expensive system for our race here in Antrim. We want to to be be as professional as possible so I have to at least match the trackmate feature for feature. I am going to be doing the timing so it will make it even easier f...

Re: Trackmate wiring 6.2 instructions

I am building a brand new system and will add that feature. If i could get my hands on a trackmate i could do exactly what you want as well.

New Timing System

I have been working on designing a new low cost timing system for a couple months now and have finally gotten to the point where I can post about it. I have studied a lot of the systems out there and have listened to what people do and don't like. There was a lot to consider but cost was the main is...

Thanks a lot for the help im getting to understand it a lot better now. I have been experimenting with different setups but none have allowed me to comfortably ride the circles left over from saturdays hybrid race. I will get it sooner or later though.

Need help setting up a GS board

I am new to slalom and need help setting my board up for a GS course. I got started at the Antrim Can/Am race mainly because i live on the hill. Over the weekend I had the privilege to ride George Pappas's board. He showed me how to pump and where to put my feet and i went from there. His board had ...
