I have seen many of those arches "running out of air" but never heard of one causing any damage in slalom races. Most of the time they fall down really slowly as the air goes out (after the ventilator is hit by a powerfailure, or otherwise stopped). Should we really worry about it? As it looks real...

Inflateble sponsord arches

After reading about a prominent racer going down and seeing the video of skiers going down because of one collapsing I had some reservations about these things. But, at a race weekend I attended recently one of these things deflated only a few minutes after I asked one of the organisers if it would ...

I do think we can have a NL champion this year, so this is THE YEAR!! ' (longboarden.nl) I failed to se...

Thanks Cyril and Wouter!

Had a cool afternoon of slalom in Hoofddorp.
A little cold, especially if you're a dork like me wearing shorts.......but positive because of the two kids now interested in learning and who will probably join Flavio in Amsterdam April 4th!

A bit of slalom next sunday?

I say old chaps, Weather permitting, I look forward to a bit of slalom skateboarding Sunday next. The meteorological forecasts look just fine for now....... lets hope they stay that way. I'll be on "the Bult" in the city of Leiden around eleven hundred hours, once again, weather permitting. Anyone e...

last thing I want to emphasise is that other governing body's like the FIS, would never, and I mean never, accept the kind of childish complaining as I've seen at the Euro's!

As it is, it's probably the most prestigious race ever held in the country!
Please be aware of the fact that we, the Dutch, are proud of that and would gladly
improve on this, what ever the status!

I was proud to see such an event take place in the Netherlands and it had a great impact as stated! But, I'm disappointed at the "level" of the response! What I think is: When you get to race against a representative field of racers you should always be thankful! When you come to a race you should thank the organisers for taking the trouble to organise it! When you have a complaint, bring it in a positive way as an improvement for next year. When you...

To be completely honest, One of the more negative things that stuck after the "Euro's" in Amsterdam was the input from the pro's that a certain country (?!) always and everywhere complains to and hassles the organisers about the courses etc. It seems to irritate the majority of racers as I was able ...

If Big Mac in tennis would have been sanctioned in accordance with what is being uttered here, he would have had a very short career. Tuning an adjustable front GOG

Question, When wanting to make the truck more or less turny, in what sequence would you go to work on it? Do you try a different bushing first or change the angle of the hanger in relation to the baseplate. Will going from a white to an orange khiro and going back 3 degrees in angle cancel each othe...

Flavio,

To start with, thanks for a great weekend!

Secondly, you mentioned yesterday that video of the competition would come available on-line, can you say anything with regard to the timing (when can we expect it) and the location (Where can we find it) of this video?
