Hey Anthony, Do you think with your DC Sports Commission contacts you could look into us being able to train in RFK? You could say we are a real club that is in training? Also didn't you mention they told you there was an unused velodrome in the basement of the stadium. I wonder if it could be used ...

The only good thing about that spot was it was next to the park. It was too short, too narrow, too dusty, and too congested with mall rats. I would use more effort to find other enclosed spots. Anthony, we've brought cones in the park during regular sessions and skated. The management never had a pr...

Slappy, is it head to head racing you would like to see at the next Gathering? I bet Andy could do it. I travel all the way from NH and always have a good time at the state park. TK Duals would be nice. I think even more official races of single track would make it more interesting. I have a good t...

There is no age limit. It is a ton of fun. There is mostly TS, flatland, and regular slalom. No GS.Seth Levy wrote:how old do you have to be to go to this thing? it sounds fun. is there ts or only gs?
My point... maybe there is a place in the area that could also include GS and duals for more than just TS?

Let me clarify, I agree a challenging course can be set there. A course can be set to be challenging at any spot. But being limited to running single lane and most courses not even being timed or recorded for comparison makes it just a practice. I can understand this might be fun for people coming f...

Leo, There really isn't an American East/West fight other than in the minds of a few close-minded people. Don't believe the hype on the other site.
