Rumour has it that Morro Bay Blvd. ( this is the street that intersects Main Street just past the TS finish line ) is going to be repaved in spring 2005. Steeper than Main, as long as Pacific Street. Poorly run regional slalom contests

In the USA we have had poorly run regional slalom contests for years.
What era are you talking John? What region? How many "regional" contests did you attend during that time?

I'm just curious.

Vincent...relax

Cambria Calling was nothing more than a fun weekend race. I have no idea why it was included in the rankings. Did it actually effect the rankings in any way? I can't believe it did.

I didn't "own" this site at the time of the event.

Chris and Corky, I respectfuly disagree with you. It is possible to name a "Rookie of the Year". Our sport needs to establish the criteria that defines a Rookie. I like the idea of a Rookie of the Year Award. I would like to see some type of criteria developed before a vote is taken. Jeff,

I was 11 years old in 1967. I think the big song that summer was "Monday, Monday" by the Mamas and Papas.

I like all kinds of new things, punk is not new.

Only dirt is older than I am.
