Wood and Formica Slalom Board

Slalom Board $60 30.5" by 9.25" can be used for tight with some extra holes or for HS Great board shape. good for beginner because of its width. Comes Gripped BB and formica can support a heavier rider. http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d49/justinfolco/Stuff%20to%20Sell/IMG_9419.jpg http://i32.photo...

at least he builds his own boards. could use a bit of rounding on the corners but thats only for style. the board may be dysfunctional to some but using a different stance it would be fine. if you build another one you may want to try making a board where you can stand directly over the trucks and s...

I used to ride the foam but it can feel wierd and the foam is not that steep.

Huge dewedge is not really a big problem to most.

I think we should go for july 5-7. it will probably be less busy than the weekend before, which makes getting good spots more likely finding places to stay and getting there much easier.

thanks for all the help.

im drilling the holes on this board in the same place as the last couple i have done to keep it consistant. My board has a tiny bit of flex (im not skillful enough to control that when building a board yet)

haha no not to much info, the more the better. i run a pretty stiff back truck for my weight, i think (140pounds black rad hardest stim(83a?)) so would i run looser than this for gs? I did not understand what you were getting at with the jab pump to a longer pump. I will be running Rt x Rt s (no i d...

I found my green speedvents work great! they haven't sucked up and glass or split riding on rough roads and sliding them. I also just got avilas and trimmed them today. gear

I know im not a pro but i find allot of sports have way to many regulations on different gear restricting what you use. i don't think slalom should be this way, if you can rock big 90 flys or any tiny wheels in slalom then do it. any trucks and board lengths should also be allowed each board will ha...

Back to the subject of Camber. If you construction 2 decks using the same materials & quatities - one with camber and one without camber - the camber board would be the stiffest of the two. This is why the heads of doorways are arched, bridges are arched and the dome roof is an architectural wonder...

no parts fall off the radikals. you take the kingpin off and pull of the hanger? put it all back together again just like any other truck.
If i was not able to fully take apart a truck i think there would be problems because of cleaning.

I dont really like flex in my slalom boards, i find when driftin on a flexy board when your wheels let go they spring out alot further because the weight is taken off the board.
I really like flex for cruising and carving makes a ride fun, and for a longer dh board it can be nice.

I don't think there should be rules to setting a GS TS or HS, i think that when listing a competition you should list what you think your spacings and offsets will probably look like, whether its 10 foot or 5 foot spacings.

I moved the truck back today, but did not move the front back enough, the wheel base is now a little bigger than i would like it to be. its also really hard to test out now because of the snow.

At the moment i have a radikal front truck and soon am getting a back. im running it on my skurf skates board 19" wheel base. when i get the back rad.
should i put it on my ts hybrid or my gs?
i read in another thread here that wedging an offset truck can be counter productive. why is this?
